Images Do Not Appear When WGR is set to 1 when I randomize within groups (case 18899)
Hello All,
I am having this strange problem where trials will randomly not execute properly when I set the trial to WGR. If I make WGR 0 this does not occur.
In each normal trial a stimulus appears, the participant makes a decision and then they receive feedback. In every trial the participant is able to make the decision, but in random intervals the feedback will not appear. I checked the files/file names and everything is as it should be. I am not pulling from a list. And again, if i do not randomize this doesn't occur.
Edit: I should have mentioned that track performance says there were NO errors.
any help would be appreciated!!!
Best,
Adam
Hi Adam!
Could you please upload a copy of the file you are having trouble with? I'll be happy to look at it.

Hey Jason,
Here is my CSV file. Do you need the stims?
Please give me the details about exactly how the feedback is delivered and where it is (which trials and stimuli) in your BFRL.csv file.
this is a typical trial:
Participants are presented with initial information (example: ForProfitPrison_High_Crop1) on top of our background (titled background). They make a decision based on that information, at which point the screen is cleared (by the same background) and the feedback is presented (example: ForProfitPrison_High_1) for 3000ms. Some trials, they see the initial information, make the choice but it skipped the screen clearing and 3000ms feedback presentation.
the feedback is given every trial (except the second part of the task, which is working fine), and each feedback is directly associated with the initial information we provide, so I built the feedback into each trial (meaning there is no jumping/skipping etc).
thanks for you help!
Did you get any error messages when running the file in DirectRT? Can you please upload a copy of the file named TrackPerformances in the DirectRT folder on your C: drive?
As stated in the original comment there were no errors. Track changes reported 0 errors.
