Ongoing video presentation during experimental procedure (case 17667)
Is there a way to display a video while executing other randomly ordered trials?
The outline of the design is:
1. Video starts (no audio)
2. trial 1: ttl+Audio1
... (randomized trials)
n. trial n: ttl+AudioN
Video ends
Currently no response is required at any stage.
Thx a lot for your help!
Chen
Hi Chen!
When you say ttl in the description of what you want to do, are you trying to get DirectRT to send a ttl signal with each audio file that is played or receive a ttl signal from an external source as each audio file is played?
The ttl is sent to biopac and marks the beginning of each trial (beginning of audio stimulus).
The issue i am concerned about is whether I can present the video on the screen (with no audio) while moving on to other experimental trials in which I play audio and send TTLs to biopac.
Thanks again,
Chen.
Can you please send me copies of any DirectRT input files and the associated video and audio files it uses? You can either post them here or send them to me directly at support@empirisoft.com. I'd like to work with the same materials you are to make sure that my solutions work for those materials.
