How do I time each trial AND record each correct hit (case 17074)

Hello,

I'm new to DirectRT and attempting to create a measure that keeps the stimulus on the screen for 500ms, but I need to record the reaction times for correct hits as well. So for each trial there should be a correct hit or a don't respond at all and both are correct for different trials. It will let me do one or the other but I am unable to do both. Can anyone help?

Example:
Trial 1 shows a picture of the letter A
Trial 2 shows a picture of the letter B

it is only correct to press the spacebar on trial 2, but I need the letter B to stay on the page for 500 ms whether or not they hit the spacebar and I need the data recorded (reaction time) for if they do hit the spacebar on trial 2.
