Manually insert participant numbers while using autostart (case 16649)

Hi all,
Firstly, I would like to apologise for any issues, such as posting this in the wrong area, since this is my first time on these forums.
Now to the question. In an experiment I plan to run soon, I would like to use autostart files to assign a random condition, but would like to manually enter the participant number. Is there any way to do this?

Simply type select subject as the first line of your autostart.txt file. You can find information about it here: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/help/preferences.htm#prefs_auto.
