Urgent Problem with Recording Reaction Time of Speaker (case 14884)
Hello there,
I have found this thread extremely helpful since we have a similar problem: we need to measure the onset latency (how long it takes until the subject starts speaking) and the length of the time spoken.
Since we will have hundreds of soundfiles which we need the exact length from, it will be very complicated to analyse these via Audacity.
At which data do we need to look to "look at the length of the trial and subtract the RT" as you proposed earlier? Does this work even if there are several stimuli shown in one trial?

Could you please upload a copy of an output file (best) or an input file (OK) that shows what you are trying to accomplish? It would be easier to give advice if I could see a concrete example of what you mean by several stimuli in one trial.
