Using previous stimuli in DirectRT 2008 (case 9544)

Hello,

I am completely confused about a problem that came up a few months ago in a program I had tested successfully earlier in the year.

I am using the "b1t1s1" notation to get DirectRT to present a word presented on the previous trial as the second stimulus on the next trial. However, instead of presenting the expected stimulus the program consistently presents the first stimulus from the second trial.

I don't know why this is happening as I've been over the code again and again and I can't find any problems with it. Please help!

The program should do the following:
1. Present a word alone for 3 seconds
2. Present a picture alone for 1 second
3. Present the word from 1. again with a scale and wait for a response

Instead, the program:
1. Presents a word alone for 3 seconds
2. Presents a picture alone for 1 second
3. Present the image from 2. again with a scale and wait for a response
