executeDRT run-time error 55 (case 6125)

I just installed and licensed DirectRT on my laptop and when I try to open any of the samples or my own survey I get the following: executeDRT run-time error '55': File already open. I have rebooted the computer and still get the error. Any explanations as to what file is already open or how to resolve this error?

The error might be happening because a style file or the style file editor is open while you are trying to run an input file; the "executeDRT" part of the error might refer to the .drt extension used by the style files.

Try running DirectRT and make sure that you don't have the Style editor open. Please let me know if this helps you get started using your copy of DirectRT!

I was able to fix the issue by reinstalling the software and applying a new code to the new registration number. I work in a lab environment where an ip range license doesn't work for us and we reimage our computer every quarter. [...]
