Cannot disable MouseClick response (case 5818)
I am trying to disable participants from clicking on the screen to progress trials, and limit them to using the number keys. Right now, I have the coding set up as "rt:num,41" (the keys on our lab's keyboard have been re-labelled so that the ` key is 0), however when we run the program, it is still possible to advance the screen by simply clicking on the image that is presented. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi. According to the DirectRT manual, when you specify rt:41 or rt:num, 41 as you did, that should be the only way to proceed. Using the files that you provided, I do not see a mouse cursor, and even when I attempt to proceed by clicking the mouse, the experiment does not proceed. Only the key moves it forward.
If this continues to be an issue for you, please provide more information about the operating system it occurs on, DirectRT version, and any other information that you think might be involved.
note: I'm using Win7 with DirectRT 2012.
