Problems with conditional skipping (case 471)

I have a conditional skip where individuals select 1 and should skip one questionnaire. I have the first variable name of the questionnaire they should skip to, but it continues to go to the one I want them to pass. I cannot figure out what is wrong with the que file. PLEASE help.

If you would like to upload your .que file or send it to support@empirisoft.com, I will be happy to look at it.

I have a similar issue. In our experiment, we have participants rate photos of the opposite sex on various traits. I've attempted to set up the experiment so that when participants choose which sex they are attracted to, they see only that sex's photographs and judgment questions. In one questionnaire, individuals choose which sex they desire to see ("desired_sex") and have 1 for Females, 2 for Males, each with skips to items within separate, independent questionnaires that contain only female or only male photographs, respectively. However, I can't seem to get the skip to work. No matter what I select, both photos are shown - first females, then males.

I'm using MediaLab version 2012.4.126. Is there any way I could get assistance with this?

    Hi IRLab,

I'd like to see the actual files in question to help me make sure that I know how you are trying to use the skip function. Please either upload them here or send them to support@empirisoft.com and reference case 471.
