I have a question concerning data collected using Medialab. Our lab recently ran an experimental survey and some questions of interest to us were missing from the data file. For these questions the boxes for "WriteData" in experimental editor were not checked.
Is there any possible way these items may have been preserved in some raw text/data file? Or is there any way to recover them for the subjects that took the survey?
I appreciate any advice you can offer in this matter.
It's an interesting idea to have a backup "raw" data file to which MediaLab would write everything in cases like this. There is currently no such thing--i.e., if the WriteData option is unchecked for a given item, then unfortunately, the data are simply not written to the data file.
