I am running a study where I am looking to provide immediate feedback of a simplified version of the IAT. Is this possible, and if so, what procedure must I follow to allow for the user's score to be immediately calculated in DirectRT?
A simplified version should pose no problem as you could just modify one of the IAT samples that comes with DirectRT. However, unlike MediaLab, DirectRT doesn't calculate values for end of the session feedback--at least not yet. You would need to launch an independent exe file that could read the csv data file and produce the desired feedback. You might also find something useful in a link on IAT data analysis:
