Videos or pictures combined with a running text - possible?

    Hello fellow readers :-)
I am new here and do not have the program Medialab yet. I could probably need it for a study, but before I purchase it, I have to know of course, if I can realise my idea.

The idea is not too complex, I guess. I want to have a series of pictures presented after each other in full-screen (videos as an alternative) and at the same time, there is a text line running in the bottom of the frame (monitor), you could compare the setting, that I want to create to what you see on tv-channels like CNN, where you have the News and at the bottom there are stock values running along.

So long story short: Is it possible to create something like this with medialab? And will it take a lot of effort?

    Thanks for your help :-)
    Greetings, Starbuck

Starbuck--this could be done quite easily. If you can find an animated gif of the runner you want or borrow some html from a website you can define an HTML region to appear on any item (like an image or movie file). See "background" in the user's guide for details or online here:

I could help you if you get stuck at all. Bottom line--no, not a lot of effort.
