Merge File Problem on DirectRT 2010 Beta
Hi,
I am having trouble merging files on Direct RT 2010 Beta. I am running a Windows 7 operating system. When I try to drag the individual csv files into the FileMerge program, the "add" sign never appears (it does not let me drag and drop the individual data files). I have merged files many times in DirectRT 2008, but this is the first time I have tried it in 2010 Beta. Is there some way around this? Thanks!
When you say the add sign never appears you mean it wont let you release the file into the drop area? Odd. I just checked it out on a Windows 7 machine here running v2010 and it seemed to work ok. Maybe it could have something to do with admin rights? Could you try logging on as an admin and seeing if that helps? Perhaps also dragging other files (e.g., from your desktop and see if the problem is limited to specific files)?
Also wondered if you have MediaLab--of so, does the data merge utitlity give you the same result when run from ML?
