Can't run any input files

Hi, I'm a brand-new DirectRT user. I haven't been able to run an input file. I get this error: "There is a problem reading your style file, 'barebones.drt'. It may be set to read-only (right-click to check)".

I did check the .drt files, and they are not read-only. My version of the program is 2008.1.0.13. I'm using XP Pro.

Hi Joe,

It would seem that the software is running into a problem while trying to access the file 'barebones.drt'.

It may be worth trying the following to troubleshoot the error:

- Make sure the file (barebones.drt) isn't open in the style editor before launching the experiment.
- Check and see if your account has proper file permissions over the directory and the file itself.
- You've noted that the file isn't 'read only' -- make sure the directory is also not set to 'read only'.

If these suggestions don't end up working, it's possible that the problem may require a less common solution.
