Any HTML possible in 2006 version?

I am writing a simple program in the 2006 version of DirectRT, and immediately following the DirectRT experiment I would like participants to open a certain webpage in the web browser. Because we are doing this in a group setting with as little experimenter interaction as possible, it would be ideal if the website address could be "implanted" as a link in the last screen that the participant sees, and that the participant would just have to click on that link, which would open the default web browser and open that webpage.

I believe that this can be done in the 2008 version of DirectRT (with an HTML "item?"), but cannot be done in the 2006 version. Is that correct? Or is there any way that I can tweak the 2006 version so that we could do the above?

Neither 2008 nor 2006 have this feature. Well, technically, 2008 has it (in terms of code) but it's not an active feature because we were still working it out when we started working on v2010 (which is out in beta and soon to be released officially). So in v2010, yes you will be able to do this. In the meantime, an easy way to do it would be to run your DRT session within a MediaLab session. That way you could insert a MediaLab HTML item immediately following the DirectRT item--voilà. Is that a possibility for you? Would be happy to help you if you run into any trouble with it.

Thanks for the reply!-- unfortunately that study is already up and running (we ended up giving verbal instructions) so I won't be able to try it out this time, but I'll pass on your answer and it may be helpful for the next set of studies. Thanks for the advice!
