I am trying to use Direct RT to program a memory task where participants see a word screen in black ink, make a verbal response, and then get the correct response on the screen in blue ink (in order to reinforce learning). Is it possible to use two different style codes within the same trial (one part of the trial presented in black ink/white background and the other blue ink/white background). If so, any suggestions on how would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, you can change background and fonts colours mid trial by inserting style codes after the stimulus in the STIM column, e.g., "mystim <5>". For more details, see:
