If video completes, ask questions; if space bar, skip to next video?
I would like to implement the following design.
20 iterations of the following:
--subject watches a video
--if subject taps space bar before video concludes, subject is skipped directly to next video
--if subject watches video to completion, subject is automatically directed to a questionnaire page (or the 'continue' button could appear which would take them to the questionnaire)
--on completion of questionnaire, subject begins viewing next video.
How can I do this in MediaLab?
You could do this more easily in DirectRT in terms of controlling the skipping with the keys of your choice. But then you would likely want to embed that within a larger MediaLab experiment in order to administer the questionnaire. If you would be ok with having then press or click a button instead then you could set up the item as a scale response with the video playing as a backvideo and placing a button somewhere that gives the option to "skip" the current video. Would something like that help?
