making the cursor disappear

Hi
I am using the cursor in an experiment. the script goes the following way. the first row contains the stimuli presented and the next is the BMP with the question in which the subject uses the cursor to choose the right answer. I want the cursor to disappear when the stimuli are presented and re-appear when the BMP with the question is displayed. is it possible? (DirectRT 2006, Windows XP)

As far as I know, at least up to v2008, there is no way to make the cursor appear and disappear while running the same input file.
