We've never had trouble before, as in previous use we did not need French characters (they are not widely used in Dutch. When we could not directly enter these letters (e.g., alt-130 = é), we tried copy-pasting these letters from Word and Powerpoint into Medialab, but that did not work either. Apparently simply using the ctrl option in Windows works fine.
