Can't register my email address?

I attempted to register as a forum user in order to post a question in the DirectRT "How do I?" forum. When I put in my registration information, I received an error message that the administrator has banned my email address. I'm trying not to take it personally. :-) Is there any way I can register for an account, or are the forums closed?
Nothing personal! We are working on preventing spammers from getting on and posting junk. I had added "*mail.com" as a banned pattern, forgetting that many grad students use gmail which is generally safe. I went in a fixed it so you should be able to register now with a gmail address--let me know if you have any trouble. Thanks for letting us know!
