Can I turn the beeping off?

When people are filling in the questionnaire, it makes a clunk or beep sound when people press enter after typing in a fill in the blank response. Is there a way to turn off this sound? I've considered changing the standard message from 'Please press ENTER . . .' to 'Click on Continue . . .', because it doesn't 'clunk' when you click on continue, but it would be easier if there's a way to turn it off. (I've also considered having everyone mute their machines.)
Does it help if you check the Mute MediaLab Sounds option on the Preferences menu?
