keep categories on screen for lexical decision task

Hi,
I am developing a lexical decision task, and I would like the category names (word/non-word) to remain on the screen throughout the entire task. However, before each trial I prime participants with another word, which is preceded and followed by a mask - so the screen gets erased a number of times on each trial. I though of putting it on the screen at the start of each trial, and after the prime, and then again after the mask, but I was wondering if there is a simpler way of doing it.

Unfortunately, it seems as though this feature isn't currently possible within DirectRT. The only way you could implement this functionality into your experiment would be through the method you've noted. For the most part, there shouldn't be any difference other than a longer and more complex input file.

We will make sure that the next release of DirectRT will have the ability to more easily complete this type of task.
