Trying to learn how to do touchscreen with dell tablet pc
I am trying to open the cursor sample to learn how to do touchscreen capability in direct RT. I just can't figure it out by the wording in the description. Mine will be pretty basic. There is a butterfly on the left side of the screen and the dinosaur on the right, and that is it, and I want it to register which one the child is touching on each trial. I have a dell tablet pc, and when I try to open the sample to understand how to do this, it says "Problem in DirectX isDisplayModeOkay-2. System.Exception: No compatible resolution was found.
I do have vista, so I don't know if this may be part of the problem.
Are you using the regular v2008 version or the Vista beta version, do you happen to know?
