    Go Back

When answering a question, is it possible to allow participants to go back to a previous item if the item does not immediately precede the question?
    Thanks

Yes, but the interceding questions will need to be answered on the way back unless you somehow work in a way to skip over them if they have already been answered (using a responses.xls file perhaps). Also try a search on goback here for related discussions.

But, how is this done? I've tried entering in skipto the variable name of the previous item that the respondent needs to be directed back to but it just ends the questionnaire.
