On the fly correct response scoring and feeback

    Hi,

My task involves participants doing arithmetic problems with true and false response options in a scale response format. The original task was done in a different program and gave participants feedback after each problem. My question is two-fold. First, can this be done after each problem (i.e. correct or incorrect flashing after each problem). If so, is there a way to let them know how they are doing overall after each question. For example, if a person has three correct answer, and the fourth they answer incorrectly, could MediaLab or Direct RT tell the person tell them they were incorrect while also telling them their score? I am also collecting reaction time if that changes things.

    Thanks in Advance!

Check out the section on creating and inserting variables, as well as complex skips in the section of the user's guide called "Advanced Features". This ought to get you where you want to be with this. The simple skips (without the ongoing score) could be accomplished also with the use of simple skipto values (see skipto in the users guide).
