Place an overall time limit on a series of items?

    [edited from support email]

In our experiment subjects read 3 texts which they rate on certain measurements. Since this is only a filler task and we try to standardize the time subjects work at this task we want them to automatically switch to the real task(s) after an interval of ten minutes. This is normally done by using the (d) parameter, which (a) won't work and (b) is only applicable on whole questionnaires rather than parts of them (e.g. first text (item type: instructions), followed by 5 scale responses -> second text, followed by 5 scale responses -> third text, followed by 5 scale responses)!?

The easiest way to do this would be to create a separate questionnaire for the filler task and then set a time limit on that questionnaire where you list it in your experiment file (e.g., by adding (d600) to the parameters field.
