Styles seems to change sometimes
Styles seems to change sometimes
[edited from support email]
Currently, if I run a DRT program, it seems to use whatever settings were last used (or set) on DRT on that particular computer. I am wondering if there is a way to set a default as to how my DRT runs (e.g., white background, black font, size X) that would operate regardless of the setting on the particular computer it's running on?
Thanks!
Do you have an individual style (.drt) file located within each session
folder or do you have just the styles.drt file located in the main DirectRT
folder?

Since I don't know what the former is, I'm going to say the latter is correct :-)
Check out the section on style files in the user's guide. It's generally best to have one in each folder that has an input file (see the samples for an illustration). Otherwise, DirectRT will look to the default style file located in the main DirectRT folder. So if anyone makes changes to that default file, everybody's experiments are affected. I usually just copy a style file from another experiment that is similar and paste it into my current experiment folder and modify it as necessary.
