Duration countdown parameter for scale items

I have been trying to add individually-displayed 45-second countdown timers for individual scale response items (using the "d-#", parameter in the experiment file). Each scale response item is its own questionnaire file. The timer displays on screen fine, but when the timer expires, Medialab doesn't move on to the next scale response item. The normal "time has expired, you will now move on" dialog box pops up, but when you click "ok", the same (unanswered) scale-response item reappears on the screen. If, however, you choose one of the responses before the timer expires, medialab advances to the next item normally. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I notice that the help file doesn't specify scale-response as one of the item types that duration parameters work for (but it doesn't say that they don't, either). Thanks.

Sounds like you are doing everything correctly. Just curious--if you add a simple instruction item after the scale item within each questionnaire, does that fix it? If not, send or attach what you've got and I'll take a look at it.
