Trouble playing sound clip

I am trying to play a 16 bit white noise wav file on DirectRT but all that will play is a single unrelated tone. It almost seems as though the program is having touble locating the file but it is in the stim folder. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I cannot get this clip or any others to play? I will attach a copy of the clip as well as a test file I have been using.

Looks like you have a redundant extension on your sound file. First thing I would try is renaming it white noise.wav rather than white noise.wav.wav. This can sometimes occur if you have the Windows default option turned on to "hide known file extensions" in the folder view options.
