Red, White & Blue USB Box

This USB-interfaced was originally designed for a researcher who worked with autistic children. He was concerned that the complexity of a standard keyboard would interfere with his subjects' ability to perform the experimental tasks, so he asked for a custom design.

This box holds 6 industrial-strength pushbuttons (available in nearly every color of the rainbow), and can comfortably accommodate many more. These buttons provide excellent tactile and audible feedback.

The work surface of this box measures 10" wide by 7" tall and slopes upward at a thirty degree angle. Rubber feet provide traction and security.

The enclosure is finished with two-tone enamel paint, but other finishes are available.

If you wander through the gallery, you'll notice several different variations on this enclosure theme.
